Spring Yard Sale – Scheduled for May 12th

The Laurel Ridge Spring Community Yard Sale has been scheduled for Saturday, May 12th from 8am – 2pm.  This coincides with the James Rumsey Yard Sale.

The yard sale is always well-received and attended by a lot of people, so you will have a great chance to sell items you no longer need and find good deals on things you might want.

Owner Access Portals
April 25, 2018

Coventry Group is now offering Owner Access portals (see the new link in the sidebar) to allow you to access your association account details. From the portal, you can view your current account balance, check your payment history, pay your assessments online, view pending violations or open work orders, communicate with your association manager and more.

If we have your email address on file, an email was sent to you with your confirmation code. If you need a confirmation code, please email our office manager. Include your name, community name, property address within the community and your email address. We need ALL of this information to verify each homeowner. To learn your way around the new owner access, please see the Owner Access Introduction.

 
Annual Meeting Postponed
January 8, 2018

Due to weather concerns and safety of our homeowners, the Annual Meeting of the Laurel Ridge HOA has been postponed until Monday, January 29th, 2018.  Same location and same time (see Announcement below)

2018 Annual HOA Meeting
December 18, 2017

The Annual HOA Meeting will be held on Monday, January 29th, 2018 at 7:30 pm at Hoss’s Steak and Seafood Restaurant located at 195 Aikens Ctr, Martinsburg, WV 25404 · (304) 267-2224.

Nomination forms for available positions were mailed out no Nomination forms were returned for the Election so positions are open and Nominations shall be taken from the floor at the meeting.

Quorum was not met, subsequent meetings will be held on February 12,

Watch for School Busses and Children!

As Summer comes to a close our children are headed back to school;  Please be on the lookout.  School busses will be coming through our Community and we need to be appropriately cautious.  We owe it to our children to keep them safe!

 Please be aware of such scammers – there are many more out there! Be very apprehensive about paying for services when approached at home.

PLEASE BE AWARE, THERE IS A GENTLEMAN TROLLING THE NEIGHBORHOOD CLAIMING TO BE DOING WORK EITHER FOR THE HOA OR DANIEL WALL, WHO IS BUILDING THE HOME ON THE CORNER AS YOU ENTER THE COMMUNITY – HE IS NOT!!

ON MAY 15TH HE SCAMMED ONE OF OUR RESIDENTS FOR $1200.  HIS NAME IS ALBERT SMITH, AKA DAVE MATTHEWS.  HE IS DESCRIBED AS A WHITE MALE, 5′ 11″, 180 LBS WITH HAZEL EYES.  HE DRIVES A BLACK FORD PICK-UP WITH POSSIBLE PRIMER.  CALL STATE POLICE IF YOU SEE HIM.

 
Welcome New Board Member
March 22, 2017

Jessica Gearing has moved from our Community and therefore stepped down from the Board and we would like to thank her for her participation, involvement and care she has shown during her term serving on the Laurel Ridge HOA Board.

In her absence, Lee Mossolle has agreed to stand in for the remainder of her term in office.  Lee is an involved Laurel Ridge homeowner who has expressed interest in contributing to the continued maintenance and upgrades to the ponds.

2017 Dues Increase
November 14, 2016

The Board of the HOA at the recent meeting voted to raise the dues for 2017 by $10 (an increase of 5.0%) in order to both save for large future road repairs that will be incurred and to keep up with the costs associated with maintaining and improving our Community.  This increase will be reflected in the invoice mailing at year’s end.

 
Summer Security
August 10, 2016

Recently, there have been some incidences of vandalism and property damage in our Community.  Local Police have also mentioned increases in theft and trespassing.  Please be aware of strangers coming and going, leave outdoor lights on for added security and if you suspect or see something – call the Police.  They are aware of the recent issues and will respond.
